I was commissioned to craft illustrations for the book cover and endpaper pages of the Ukrainian edition of Pavao Pavličić's children's adventure novel, "Three Friends in Ternya" (Trojica u Trnju), published by the "NK Bohdan" publishing house.
This delightful and somewhat nostalgic tale explores themes of friendship and childhood adventure. While it is perfect for children, it also lends itself to enjoyable family reading.

It follows the adventures of three courageous, resourceful, and determined boys from the Dugave region of Zagreb – Hrvoje, Gup, and Bratko. In this tale, a twist of fate draws these boys into a bank robbery, commencing with the enigmatic disappearance of Hrvoje. Gup and Bratko embark on a quest to find their missing friend, guided by the cryptic clues he leaves behind. Along their journey, they confront perilous situations, skillfully overcoming them as they unravel the mystery behind the crime and expose the culprits.
