This collection is called “Total catness”, which is, clearly, my tribute to cats and kittens, those graceful creatures that know something about enjoing life. These sumi-e style ink paintings will create a cosy atmosphere at your home or cafe and will bring up a smile when printed on phone cases or bags.
Dreamer kitten is trusting, delicate and a bit naughty, relaxing, but always ready to play. Adopt her and she will always bring a smile to your face.
Stamp featured on the painting is the author’s “signature”, carved in tensho calligraphy characters.
The style used is known as Japanese ink wash painting, sumi-e and suibokuga.
Materials used: rice paper, Chinese dry ink and animal hair brush.
